What's even more impressive about these score gains is the fact that it's not just 1 or 2 kids out of hundreds (as with other places), but rather scores JUST FROM the October 2009 SAT.... FURTHERMORE, these kids ALREADY TOOK ANOTHER COURSE!
Other things to note: 1) These scores are the real deal. 2) We never use harder "baseline" diagnostic tests 3) We never use easier "end result" tests 4) We don't even count score increases from a real SAT / ACT where the kid was tired or sick or didn't really try that hard because they knew it didn't matter.
Q: How much can I expect to increase scores? A: Its depends on what is causing the problem.
Though we boast some of the highest average score increases in the entire Bay Area, there is actually no point looking at the high scores or high score improvements of other students, because it's not reliable. Average SAT score increases aren't a reliable indicator of how good a course is because there are too many variables. Each student's maximum SAT / ACT Score is determined by his / her "LIMIT" Not every student can improve 200+ points, and not every student can hit 2200 on the SAT or 33 on the ACT. Those students already scoring near their "LIMIT" will see little increase.
While other SAT or ACT courses may take scores up moderately, we take each student to his / her maximum score.
