SAT or ACT? BOTH.
Should I take ACT or SAT Reasoning? Colleges accept either one, however students should take BOTH. The SAT and ACT are different tests, and some students do better on one than the other. Don't waste time paying to take the SAT or ACT. Download and print these REAL SAT and REAL ACT exams. Time yourself and take them both.
Some factors: 1) Have you taken Algebra 2 WITH Trigonometry?
No? ACT tests trig and trig identities, as well as sequences and series. You won't be able to answer a good chunk of the ACT math questions, so the ACT is OUT FOR YOU.
2) Applying to CSU only?
Yes? Then SAT without a doubt. You can ditch an entire third of the exam, which won't count for admission purposes.
